Planned Giving

Please consider supporting Haskell Indian Nations University through a planned gift to the Haskell Foundation. WHEN CONSIDERING A PLANNED GIFT TO THE HASKELL FOUNDATION, PLEASE CONSULT WITH YOUR FINANCIAL PLANNER, TAX ADVISOR AND/OR ATTORNEY TO UNDERSTAND TAX AND OTHER CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE ESTABLISHING A PLANNED GIFT.

There are a number of planned gifts to the Haskell Foundation you might consider when discussing with your advisor(s), including the following;
Bequests
A bequest is the act of giving an asset such as money, stocks, bonds, jewelry, artwork or other valuables through the provisions of a will or estate plan.
Life Insurance
Purchasing a life insurance policy, and naming the Haskell Foundation as a beneficiary or contingent beneficiary of the policy. (A contingent beneficiary becomes the primary beneficiary if the primary beneficiary predeceases the purchaser of the life insurance policy.)
Retirement Plan
Naming the Haskell Foundation as a beneficiary in your employee retirement plan, Individual Retirement Account (IRA) or your 401 K retirement plan. You can have multiple beneficiaries receiving different percentages of your retirement account.
Gift Annuities
Consider the purchase of an annuity naming the Haskell Foundation as a beneficiary. An annuity is an investment that typically entitles the beneficiary to a fixed sum of money, typically paid annually. Annuities may “vest” or be payable after a term of years, or they may be paid periodically once the annuity has been purchased.
